AV IT CARE (“AV IT CARE,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to www.avitcare.com, our website forms, live-chat interactions and related communications.

Privacy laws differ by state and may apply based on factors such as a business’s size, revenue and data-processing activities. We provide the rights described below where required by applicable law and may honor them more broadly at our discretion.

01

Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information processed when you:

  • visit or interact with this website;
  • submit a contact or quote-request form;
  • communicate through Tawk.to live chat, email, telephone or WhatsApp;
  • request, purchase or receive our technical or creative services; or
  • use an authorized third-party payment link associated with our services.

This policy does not govern third-party websites or services that maintain their own privacy policies.

02

Information we collect

Information you provide

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact identifiers: name, email address, mobile number and preferred contact method.
  • Location information: address, city, state or region, and ZIP or postal code that you provide.
  • Business information: organization name, current website and service requirements.
  • Technical-support information: device type, operating system, error messages, issue timing, urgency and your description of the problem.
  • Project information: selected services, desired timeline, objectives and other quote-request details.
  • Communications: messages, chat transcripts and correspondence with us.
  • Transaction records: invoice reference, service description, payment status and amount. Payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment provider, not our ordinary website forms.

Information received automatically

Our hosting provider, security systems and enabled third-party tools may automatically receive limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, date and time, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic or security events.

Please do not send highly sensitive information

Do not submit Social Security numbers, government-identification numbers, banking passwords, payment-card PINs, complete card details, one-time passcodes, private encryption keys or unrelated medical information through our forms, chat, email or WhatsApp.

03

Sources of information

We may receive information:

  • directly from you or a person acting on your behalf;
  • from your interactions with our website and communications;
  • from service providers that support hosting, security, communications, chat and payments;
  • from public sources when reasonably necessary to provide a requested business service; and
  • from referral partners when you have asked or authorized them to connect you with us.
04

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare requested quotes;
  • diagnose technical issues and deliver agreed services;
  • communicate about appointments, projects, invoices and support;
  • send transactional confirmations and maintain business records;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure the website;
  • detect spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents;
  • improve our services, forms and customer experience;
  • enforce agreements and protect our rights, customers and systems; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not use enquiry information to send unrelated promotional email unless you separately request or consent to those communications.

05

How we disclose information

We may disclose relevant information to:

  • Service providers: companies supporting website hosting, email delivery, live chat, security, file storage and payment processing.
  • Professional advisers: accountants, insurers, auditors and legal advisers when reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities or legal recipients: when required by law, legal process or a valid government request, or when necessary to protect rights and safety.
  • Business-transfer recipients: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Other recipients you direct: when you ask us to share information or provide consent.
Sale and targeted advertising

AV IT CARE does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or significant automated decision-making.

06

Cookies and online technologies

The website and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies for functionality, security and communications. In particular, the Tawk.to chat widget may use cookies and browser storage to maintain chat sessions, remember settings and understand interactions with the widget.

You can control cookies using browser settings, although blocking some storage may prevent live chat or other features from functioning correctly. Where required, we will recognize legally valid opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, no separate sale/sharing opt-out is currently necessary for our own practices.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized. We do not currently alter general website functionality in response to those signals, but we honor applicable legally recognized privacy signals as described above.

07

Payment information

If online payment is offered, payment-card and banking information should be entered only on the secure page of the authorized payment provider. AV IT CARE’s ordinary contact and quote forms are not designed to collect complete payment-card details or online-banking credentials.

We may receive limited transaction information from the provider, such as payer name, amount, date, payment status and transaction reference, for accounting and customer-support purposes. The provider processes payment data under its own privacy policy and security obligations.

08

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, responding to enquiries, maintaining security and meeting legal obligations.

  • General enquiries and quote requests are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction unless a longer period is reasonably necessary.
  • Customer, contract, invoice and transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, warranty and legal obligations.
  • Security and server logs are retained according to operational and hosting-provider schedules.
  • Chat records are retained according to our Tawk.to settings and legitimate support needs.

We may retain information longer when required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, necessary for security or subject to a valid legal hold. Information may be deleted, anonymized or aggregated when no longer required.

09

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These may include access controls, encrypted website connections, software updates, anti-spam controls and limited access based on business need.

No website, email service, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use caution and avoid sending sensitive credentials. If you believe information submitted to us has been compromised, contact us promptly using the details below.

10

Your U.S. privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law covers our activities, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • access or obtain a copy of certain personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion, subject to legal exceptions;
  • obtain portable data in an appropriate format;
  • opt out of sale, targeted advertising or qualifying profiling;
  • limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
  • appeal a denied request where applicable; and
  • receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

How to submit a request

Email info@avitcare.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call +1 646 906 9555. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and the information or interaction involved.

We may need to verify your identity using information already associated with the request. We will not ask for your password or complete payment-card number. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, but we may request evidence of authorization and identity verification. We generally respond within 45 days, subject to extensions or different periods permitted by applicable law.
